Acne can affect confidence, school, work and social life, and no two people's skin is the same. What works for one person can irritate another. That's why I start with your skin, your history and your goals, not a one-size-fits-all product.

• Teens (12-17): Parents are welcome at every appointment. A parent or guardian's consent is required for treatment. I explain things simply, so teens feel comfortable and know what to expect.
• Hormonal acne in your 20s: Breakouts around the jaw, chin and monthly cycle can be stubborn. We'll look at your routine, your triggers and what's worth trying. If your skin may need medical care, I'll suggest you see your GP alongside your skin-clinic care.
• Acne scarring: Once your skin is calm, treatments such as skin needling can help improve the look of acne scarring.

• Acne peels: professional-strength exfoliation to help unclog pores and smooth skin texture.
• LED light therapy: a gentle, comfortable treatment that can support calmer, clearer skin.
• Extractions: safe, professional clearing of blocked pores and congestion, which is better than picking at home.
• Skin needling for acne scarring: used only for scarring, once active breakouts have settled.
• Home-care skincare plan: a simple routine you can stick to, because what you do between appointments matters as much as what happens in the clinic.

How many appointments will I need? 

It depends on your skin and how long you've had acne. I'll give you an idea at your first appointment and review your progress as we go.

Is treatment suitable for teenagers? 

Yes. I regularly treat teens aged 12-17. A parent or guardian must consent to treatment, and they're welcome to come along.

Do I need to see my GP too? 

Sometimes. Some acne needs medical treatment, and I'll let you know if I think a GP visit would help. Skin-clinic care and GP care can work well together. I also have access to direct referals with a clincial naturopath that specialises in treating acne. 

Will treatment hurt?

Most people find peels, LED and extractions comfortable, though some treatments can cause temporary redness or tingling. I'll explain what to expect before we start.

Can you get rid of my acne completely? Results vary from person to person, and I can't promise a particular outcome. What I can promise is an honest plan and ongoing support.
